Pearls for Girls & Gold for Guys
>A virtue is moral goodness, excellencies, praise.
>The manifestation of God shown in your life.

Supplies: Bibles, paper, pens/pencils, markers, kids print out or cardstock, dictionaries, magazines, 

Teacher Prep:
Write good moral character traits on the blackboard.

>Proverbs: Mostly written by King Solomon the wisest person on earth for a time, as he was inspired by God.

Draw a large word bubble on the blackboard or large piece of paper.

Read Proverbs 1:1-7
>Reread Proverbs 1:1-7-this time as the kids are reading and the come across a virtue let the one who raises their hand first write it on the board.
>As the child is writing the virtue on the board, look up in the dictionary the meaning of that word.

(Help the kids to learn how to dig in deep into God’s word to gain a better understanding of it and not to just read the bible lightly, but find out what God is saying & how to apply it to their lives.)

>Bubble words form NKJ-wisdom, judgment, justice, equity, instruction, perceive, understanding, prudence, instruction in wisdom, discernment)

>What kind of person do you want to be?  We will be exploring virtues, which are excellent moral traits that will help us to become godly wise people.

Hand each child a print out person or folded in half card stock.

Print Out

>On the out side of the print out person you can draw or cut out stuff from the magazines and design an older you. What will your job be, pets, hobbies, etc.
>On the inside of the print out person write descriptive words of WHO you want to be: kind, generous, caring, good mother, your virtue traits. (These will be the things that you bring into heaven with you 😉
