Valentines Day

There are so many Bible verses and aspects in which we can reveal God’s love for us and how we are to love others. Here are just a few that would work wonderfully for a Valentines Day Lesson.

VERSES
1 Corinthians 13:4–8a Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. … So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
